Join Christy in her studio to design and print your own posters with our unique collection of wood type and imagery. Sign up on your own, or encourage a friend to sign up with you. Christy will guide you through the entire process, from planning your layout to printing on our Vandercook press.
The cost covers all materials, equipment, and guided one-on-one instruction. Choose your ink and paper colors. Also select and plan your poster size, from 8.5 x 11 up to 12.5 x 19 inches. Participants will each print five copies of their poster design.
Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and clothing you don’t mind getting ink on. Be prepared to stand as you work. Stairs are required between studio level and restroom. Our studio can sometimes feel cooler, we suggest wearing layers. Please bring your own covered water bottle and non-alcoholic beverages if you’d like to have something to drink while you work.
In the event of severe weather, illness or unforeseen circumstances, we’ll attempt to reschedule or offer a full refund.
