Block Print and Bind a Journal Cover Workshop, January 25
Workshop time: 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Workshop size: up to five participants, ages 16 and up
Location: Nesja Press, 307 Green Street, Mount Horeb, Wis.
Design and print your own journal cover with carved linoleum. Bring your own ideas for the design, or use image prompts provided by us. Each participant will choose their paper color for the cover and print their carved image on our Vandercook press. Then we'll bind the cover with 50 blank pages to create a wire-bound journal you can take and use. Keep your carved image too.
Price includes all materials and one-on-one instruction from Christy. Wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and clothing you don’t mind getting ink on. Be prepared to stand as you work. Stairs are required between studio level and restroom. Our studio can sometimes feel cooler, we suggest wearing layers. Please bring your own covered water bottle and non-alcoholic beverages if you’d like to have something to drink while you work.
