The Hemingway Semi-Custom Notecards
The Hemingway notecard design features a name you provide in handsome 16 point Huxley Vertical with an elegant underscore. We typeset everything in metal type and letterpress print each card by hand in an ink color you select (example shown in Adriatic Blue).
Notecard Size & Paper Details
Notecards are printed on 118# white, 100% cotton paper. Cards are sturdy but not overly thick with a subtle, velvety texture. Each card measures 5.5 x 4.25 inches. They are flat without a fold. A2 Euro flap envelopes are included. Sets of 25 notecards and envelopes are packaged in a protective, clear, rPET, stationery box.
Ink & Envelope Colors
Notecards may be printed in one of eight ink colors. Envelope color will match the ink color you select. We’ve curated two color palettes: bright and muted. Bright colors include Adriatic Blue, Chartreuse Green, Mandarin Orange, and Hot Pink. Muted colors include Mid Green, Harvest Gold (not shiny like foil stamping), Soft Rose, and Cashmere Gray.

Semi-custom notecards are available in pre-defined quantities and prices. We can typically complete your order within 10-12 business days. If you need a quantity greater than 200, please contact us and we’ll provide a quote. Prices shown do not include shipping.

Personalization & Proofing
Add the notecards to your cart and then you’ll be directed to a personalization form. This is where you’ll provide us with the name to be printed. After your order is placed we’ll share a digital proof of your notecards by email, typically within 48 hours. We kindly ask you to review and approve this proof before we print the full notecard order.
Placing orders for several different names at the same time.
Create a separate notecard order for each person. Each will appear as a separate item in your cart. This approach gives you the flexibility to select different designs, quantities and customizations for each person.
